Continued Growth Brings Top Management to Automotive Parts Manufacturer

CHICAGO, January 10, 2011 – UGN, Inc., an automotive parts manufacturer, has hired Mike Huskey as vice president of operations. Huskey functions as the top operations executive and leads all manufacturing and advanced engineering activities for UGN.

“Huskey’s technical background within the industry helps us define leadership with our most recent expansion, as well as any future growth,” says Peter Anthony, CEO, UGN, Inc. “He has experience at the plant level and with an automotive soft trim supplier. That combined expertise makes him a perfect fit for UGN.”

Most recently, Huskey served as the president and chief operating officer of Agriboard Industries and prior to that Huskey spent eight years as vice president and director of operations, flooring and acoustics at International Automotive Components Group North America.

Working from the UGN headquarters in Tinley Park, Illinois, Huskey is responsible for aggressively driving Toyota Production Systems and LEAN initiatives.  The new leadership and energy plans to generate a culture that is customer-focused, team-oriented, highly collaborative, and continuously improving.
